“We believe because of Jesus’s sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, we have a legacy of love, grace to greater works, and faith to see the unseen hand of God at work.”
John 3:16, John 14:12-14, Ephesians 2:8-10
“Our Mission is to disciple the Church to impact the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to teach others that Jesus is the Light of the World; thereby, encouraging them to transform from visionless lives to living purpose-filled according to God’s divine plan. We hope to be examples of Christ in deed while personifying His loving character through grace.”
I Corinthians 9:27, I Corinthians 10:11,
Colossians 1:28-29, I Timothy 1:16, I John 4:7-10
"To exemplify Christ and to personify love through grace"
After much prayer, and fasting, Elder Beryl I. Cowthran shared a vision with seven people of like mind. The eight met often to pray and plan and would decide to organize Grace Hill Church,
“The Place Where God Heals”.
On August 10, 2017, the church was incorporated as a non-profit organization. Grace Hill Church held its first worship service at 1211 Airport Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana on Sunday, October 8, 2017. The membership immediately grew from seven to over twenty members. During this time, the vision was expanded and expounded upon and the Grace Agreements and the Grace Expectations were introduced. The church remained at this location until June 2018. In June, the church moved to 1303 Line Avenue where it continues to flourish.
“Grace Hill will be a church of common people with a common belief and a common culture for Kingdom building.”
